What the A10VO does
Open circuit, variable displacement
The A10VO was designed for operation in open-loop circuits. That means it pulls oil from the tank, pushes it to the valves and cylinders, and the oil returns to the tank. Because displacement varies with demand, it doesn't dump excess flow the way a fixed pump does, and it has good suction characteristics that help avoid cavitation in cold starts or fast cycles.
Control options
The letters after the size in the model code tell you how the pump behaves. A DR control is a straightforward pressure controller. A DFR adds flow control for load-sensing systems. EP versions use an electro-proportional signal. Two pumps with the same displacement but different controls are not interchangeable, and this is where many wrong-part orders start.
Combination pumps
Rexroth allows combination pumps that give independent hydraulic circuits without a splitter gearbox, and the ordering code joins the first and second pump with a "+". If your machine has a stacked pump, you need the full code for both.
What the A22VG does
A closed-circuit double pump
The A22VG has two swashplate axial piston rotary groups for hydrostatic drives in a closed circuit, and its output is proportional to drive speed and displacement. Moving the swashplate through neutral reverses flow direction smoothly, which is why hydrostatic machines can go from forward to reverse without a gearbox shift.
Three illustrative scenarios
These are typical situations, not case studies of specific Mecalac machines.
1. Travel feels weak, and the oil runs hot. On a hydrostatic drive, the first suspects are usually not the main pump. Suppliers who deal with closed-loop wheel loader pumps commonly point to control components and the pressurisation system as the origin of jerky motion, overheating, and one-sided power loss, and recommend checking oil cleanliness and boost pressure. Check charge pressure, filters and the cooler before condemning the pump.
2. The boom slows down whenever the operator steers. This points to the open-circuit side. A drifting pressure setting, a blocked load-sense line, or a worn compensator on a DFR-type control can all cause it. Testing the standby and margin pressure is faster than swapping the pump.
3. The wrong pump arrives. The displacement matches, but the shaft, flange, or control doesn't. The fix is to order from the complete model code on the nameplate, not from the size alone.

Q1: Can I replace a DR-control A10VO with a DFR one?
A1: Not without checking the system. The control changes how the pump behaves, and the load-sense plumbing has to support it.
Q2: My hydrostatic loader loses power when hot. Is the pump worn?
A2: Possibly, but check charge pressure, filtration, and cooling first. Those are the more common causes and cost far less to fix.
Q3:What is the price and delivery time of the A10VO/A22VG hydraulic pump for the Mecalac wheel loader?
A3: The specific price and delivery time will depend on the equipment model or specific product model you provide.
Q4: How to purchase an A10VO/A22VG hydraulic pump for the Mecalac wheel loader?
