The T6EDP (Double Pump configuration) and T6EDM (Medium-pressure single pump) are engineered for continuous-duty industrial service, designed to deliver consistent flow and pressure across wide operating envelopes.
At their core, both models use a balanced vane pumping mechanism-a cartridge-based design where spring-loaded and pressure-loaded vanes sweep against a profiled cam ring, trapping and displacing fluid in a highly controlled manner. The "balanced" designation means inlet and outlet ports are diametrically opposed, canceling radial loads on the shaft and dramatically extending bearing life compared to unbalanced gear pumps.
How the Balanced Vane Mechanism Works
The pumping element-called a cartridge kit in Parker Denison's parts nomenclature-consists of a rotor, a set of vanes (typically 12), two side plates (pressure plates), and a cam ring. The rotor is splined to the drive shaft and rotates within the cam ring. Vanes slide radially in slots machined into the rotor; as the assembly rotates, the vanes follow the elliptical contour of the cam ring, expanding and contracting the volume between adjacent vanes.

Injection Molding Machines
The T6EDP's tandem architecture is particularly well-suited to injection molding. A typical 500-ton machine might use the front section to supply the injection circuit (high pressure, variable flow) and the rear section to supply clamp and ejector circuits. Because both sections share a drive shaft, the hydraulic power unit stays compact, reducing footprint on a production floor where square footage is expensive.
