    The PVQ is a fixed-displacement vane pump manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, a Bosch Group company and one of the world's leading suppliers of hydraulic components. Unlike axial piston pumps that vary output through a swash plate, the PVQ delivers a constant flow rate per shaft revolution — hence "fixed displacement."

    Inside the pump, a rotor fitted with sliding vanes turns inside a cam-profiled stator ring. Centrifugal force (and in some designs, spring assistance) pushes the vanes outward against the ring, trapping fluid in the pockets formed between adjacent vanes. As the rotor turns, these pockets carry fluid from the inlet to the outlet port, generating steady, pulsation-free flow.
